I stick to a very strict Hanukkah diet
Just pick any food I want and then fry it
This festival of lights I just might
Eat eight days worth of oil in one night
Pour a whole lot in a pan or pot
On top of the stove, til I got it real hot
Then I just drop in anything edible
When it emerges it tastes incredible
Have a fried egg, on top of fried rice
With fried onion slices, like paradise
It all tastes great but make no mistakes
My favorite fried food is potato pancakes
I love eating Latkes got to have a lot cause
I can not stop when their crispy and hot cuz
I’m a wait til next week for weight loss
Today I’m having sour cream and apple sauce

Most of the year I do not eat doughnuts
But when Hanukkah comes around go nuts
Stuffing sufganiyot down my throat
Til I’m so bloated, I don’t fit in my coat
Eight days I eat them in all different ways
Can’t go wrong with Old Fashioned, Glaze
Krueller, Coconut, Cake, Sour cream
Frosted with sprinkles, pink, blue, and green
Add a twist to the list and I’m more than willing
To kill a cinnamon with some apple filling
I’ll tear through bear claws with my hands bare
And I do like Eclairs but I don’t like to share
I want to get lost in custard filled Boston
Cream pies covered with chocolate frosting
Or fmmill em with jelly filling til they pop
Spilling red goop, powdered sugar on top
