Lately there’s been so much bad news
About unprovoked attacks against Jews
Throughout the EU and the UK
As well as here in the USA
I believe that we’ve got an obligation
To fight this hatred with education
By identifying the definitions
Of some basic antisemitic positions

If you promote, support, or even excuse
The killing, harming, or abusing of Jews
In the name of extremist religious views
Or any other radical doctrine you choose

That’s anti-Semitic!

If you lie, demonize, dehumanize
Or stereotypically characterize
The power Jews have collectively
In a negative way, and especially
If you claim there’s a Jewish Conspiracy
Controlling the things we see on TV
Pulling the strings of the economy
Or running the government secretly

That’s anti-Semitic!

If you accuse all Jews of being guilty
Sharing collective responsibility
For crimes that an individual Jew
Or a single group of Jews may do

That’s anti-Semitic!

If you question the facts, or number that died
Or deny the intention of the genocide
Of the Jewish people during World War Two
At the hands of the Nazi’s and their heinous crew
Or you accuse Jews or the Jewish nation
Of Holocaust faking, or exaggeration

That’s anti-Semitic!

If you accuse Jews of disloyalty
To the interests of their own country
Claiming that their only priority
Is Israel or the Jewish community

That’s anti-Semitic!

If you deny that the Jewish population
Has a right to self-determination
And claim it’s inherently racist
For even just one Jewish State to exist

That’s anti-Semitic!

If you apply a double standard and say
Israel should behave in a certain way
Holding them to a higher expectation
Then any other democratic nation

That’s anti-Semitic!

If you use anti-Semitic imagery
To portray Israel or an Israeli
Or you compare contemporary policies
Of the Israelis, with those of the Nazis
Or you point to the actions of Israel and claim
That collectively all Jews are to blame

That’s anti-Semitic!

Please share this information with your friends
Til the baseless discrimination ends
Let's thwart attacks in their tracks and report
Racist or hateful speech of any sort
We need broad support so it’s time to create
Coalitions, our mission is fighting hate
Together with our brethren in every community
Let’s fill this world with peace, love, and unity
