But my favorite country has got to be
The land of the brave and the home of the free
I’m an All-American, born and raised
Ohio is where I’ve spent most of my days
But I’ve been from the southeast to the northwest
Of the USA and we’re just so blessed
When it comes to diversity, there’s a lot
We’ve got to be the world’s melting pot
So many cultures from all different lands
Puerto Rican, Mexican, African Americans
Japanese, Chinese, Indian, Korean
Irish, Italian, and other European
Like British, Swedish, French, Dutch, and German
Some so mixed up it’s hard to determine
Oregon, Ohio, Oklahoma, Arizona
Connecticut, Kansas, Colorado, California
Rhode Island, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Dakota
Michigan, Montana, Mississippi, Minnesota
Massachusetts, Maryland, Maine, Missouri
New Hampshire, New Mexico, New York, New Jersey
Idaho, Iowa, Illinois, Indiana
Kentucky, Arkansas, Utah, Louisiana
West Virginia, Washington, Wyoming, Georgia
Wisconsin, Carolina, Alabama, Florida
Tennessee, Texas, Nevada, Nebraska

Give it up for the true Americans to
Cherokee, Chippewa, Choctaw, and Sioux
Cheyenne, Chickasaw, Creek, Crow
Lumbee, Shoshone, Mohawk, Navajo
Iroquois, Blackfoot, Seminole, Hopi
Pueblo, Apache, Pottawatomie
And a lot more tribes if we got specific
Who ran this land from Atlantic to Pacific
Until Europeans took over their nations
Forcing the natives onto reservations
Uprooting families, and crushing dreams
Even stealing their names for some baseball teams
Things were done that no words can correct
But it’s still not too late to show some respect
To our Native American sisters and brothers
Who lived in this land long before all the others
