The month on Elul is amongst us. What a special time of year! Many, including myself have associated this time of year with fear and trepidation... the truth is it's a time of love and compassion! אלול is known to stand for the words אני לדודי ודודי לי- "I am to my Beloved, and my Beloved is to me"... the only thing to fear is to let this time pass us by and not take advantage of it! As Elul rolled in- I starting humming this tune- originally composed and performed by C Lanzbaum and Noah Solomon on their Butterfly album. It has helped me keep this message in my head and in my heart- I therefore thought it was appropriate for the next Unplugged Session to share with my audience. Hope you enjoy!
