Yaakov 'Yanky' Lemmer (Keshiniver) Shtikele – Composed by Moshe Oysher, Lyrics by Yanky Lemmer

Nov 21 Tel Aviv Culture Hall with the Raanana Symphony conducted by Maestro Ofir Sobol. The concert was part of a yearly series put on by the illustrious Yuval Ensemble for Jewish & Cantorial music. (Yuval.org.il)
This prticular show celebrated the music of the Moshe’s from the golden age of Cantorial music. Also performing that night were Yitzchak Meir Helfgot, Tzvi Weiss & Netanel Ilovitsky.
When asked to sing Dos Keshiniver Shtikele made famous by Moishe Oysher, I felt that the lyrics were dated and people wouldn’t connect (I didn’t ;-) so I set out and wrote this parody.
